What does Google not want you to search for?

Creativity will make you rock on Tinder

First of all, it is important to point out that the behavior of Tinder users has changed as a whole. According to a platform survey, they are tired of going out for dinner and drinks. The preference now is for more creative dates.

The app's bios saw an increase for the following keywords: picnic (43%), mini-goal (56%) and drive-in (34%). By the way, did you notice anything in common in these three activities? They are all outdoors. And, according to the app's survey, these are the most sought after.

There was also a preference for barbecue and street food (hot dogs, podrão,...). These interests, incidentally, are in the global Top 10.

Sobriety matches!

Singles no longer want to drink on dates, found the Tinder survey. More than 25% of users who responded to an app survey responded that they are consuming less alcohol. In addition, there was a 40% decrease in emojis from beer and 25% on emojis from wine in profile bios.

What's more, three out of four profiles indicate that they don't drink, or only drink socially.

Affair? Not today, Faro

You definitely know a couple of friends who found each other, connected and now live happily ever after after meeting on Tinder. However, stories like this are increasingly rare on the app.

The survey released showed that app users prefer more casual bids. Instead of boyfriends, they are looking for hookups. At most, a “premium hookup”. The explanation is simple: without a label, there is less pressure on the relationship.

Be funny, clean, direct and faithful

The trait that most makes a person swipe right is a sense of humor. Next, is sincerity. About 73% of Tinder users are looking for a straight person who knows what they want. Good hygiene rounds out the Top 3.

The ranking is completed with: loyalty (79%), respect (78%), having an open mind (61%) and, finally, appearance (56%).

Being involved in social causes or in some activism campaign also makes you more “liked” in the app.

Written in the Stars… of Tinder

Finally, astrology has been a driving factor in getting matched on Tinder. Zodiac signs have appeared in most of the app's profiles, behind preferences (or not) for cigarettes, animals and food.

Oh, and these are the signs that appear the most on Tinder: Leo, Scorpio and Cancer. What is fully expected of Leos, Scorpios and cancerians.
