Furthermore, IPVA is not charged on older vehicles. In this sense, five states in the federation have abolished charging the tax for cars over 20 years old. They are: São Paulo, Acre, Rio Grande do Sul, Mato Grosso do Sul and Paraná.
For this reason, in 2024 citizens of these states will not need to worry about paying IPVA, as long as they have one of the five models that we will present in the next topics!
