To commemorate the National Day of Pizza, celebrated on the last 10th of July, the Italian Chamber of Commerce of São Paulo (Italcam), through from Rede Gastronómica, will be promoting until next Sunday, July 17th, the “Gionarta della Pizza”.
This festival will bring together 12 pizzerias in the state of São Paulo that offer pizzas with legitimate and authentic ingredients, paired with wines and special prices. Some of the establishments will also open their doors earlier than usual, in order to be able to serve delicacies at lunchtime.

It is important to say that there are some obligatory specificities of the festival, imposed with the objective of giving the authentic Italian flavor, being, one of them, that all participating pizzerias make pizzas with flour and tomatoes of Italian origin, as well as offering the most traditional of pizza flavors, the Margherita.
In addition to encouraging the opening of houses from 12:00, Italcam suggested two more flavor options to pizzerias, which should always be prepared with ingredients of Italian origin, namely the Speciale, which is finished with raw ham or mortadella, and the Italo-brasiliana, which takes a combination of Italian cheeses with national.
The pizzerias that are participating in Giornata dela Pizza 2022 are the following: Brace di Napoli Pizzeria Artigianale (Indaiatuba), Rural Pizzeria Napoletana (Sorocaba), Braz Pizzaria, Come Pizza, Diavola, Gatto Figa Pizzeria, Leggera Pizzeria, Pasta & Pizza Eataly, Pizzeria Foglia, Unica Pizzeria e Vinarium Antica Trattoria (São Paulo) and Maremonti Trattoria &, which has more than one address. Some special promotions and discounts will be offered by pizzerias during this week, which should be checked on the establishments' disclosure channels.
