With Enem - National High School Exam - you can enter the university, in Brazil, and also in some universities in Portugal.

Its importance is so great that today many universities use the ENEM score as the only criterion for selecting candidates.

There are others, in turn, that use the exam grade to complement the entrance exam.

Sisu, Prouni and Fies

Sisu, Prouni and Fies are programs that use the Enem score to select candidates.

To do so, you need to enroll in the intended program using the enrollment number and password you use at Enem, more precisely on the Inep website. Pay attention to the dates when these entries can be made!

  • Sisu - Unified Selection System: offers places at public universities without students having to take the entrance exam.
  • Prouni - University for All Program: grants scholarships to private universities.
  • faithful - Student Financing Fund: finances higher education graduation in courses that are not free.

What is the weight of the evidence?

The tests are corrected according to the Item Response Theory (TRI). This means that participants who have answered the same number of questions correctly can have different marks.

It's that through this method, you can see if people got it right because they know or because "kick", which happens, for example, when someone hits the most difficult answers and misses the more easy. And if that's the case, the student's grade will be lower.

As for writing, the weight is greater, as the grade goes from 0 to 1000 and is not based on statistics.

Enem answer sheet

The writing is evaluated by two proofreaders who assign a grade from 0 to 200 for each of the five skills: language, understanding of the proposal and application of different areas of knowledge, defense of point of view, argumentation and proposal of intervention.

If there is no discrepancy between the brokers' grade, the final grade will be the arithmetic average of the grades of both. In case of discrepancy, a third broker enters the scene.
